The #12 Three Rivers Karting and Buds sponsored dirt Crate Latemodel is piloted by Daryl Charlier and typically can be seen racing locally at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway located off Route 22/30 near Imperial, PA. The car consist of a 604 GM Crate engine that provides 550 HP, a complete tubular chassis, and a 4 link rear suspension. The body itself is completely hand crafted from sheets of aluminum by Daryl and then wrapped by Octane Graphics for that stylish look. The suspension is designed for dirt cars with (6) FOX shocks, Hypercoil springs, and rubber biscuits to handle the abuse of dirt racing. Although this chassis was built back in 2008, it has had many updates and every year it gets a new body installed. It is also one of the most competitive dirt cars at Pittsburgh’s monster half mile.
